This is very similar to becoming an independent mechanic, but instead you will be specializing more directly in the purchase of used cars.

And of course if you are an auto mechanic you are good at what you do. In other words you know how to fix up cars and make them run better. This can open up a lot of avenues as far as fixing up junk cars and reselling them for a profit. Think about how much money you could make if you put in all the work yourself. You will never have to pay any money except for the original purchase and any parts that you need. All of the labor will be done by you. The profit that you can make doing this can be quite large.

There are many unique ways that auto mechanics can earn extra money. The most important thing is to not think that there are no options available to you. Even if you do not want to earn any extra money at this point, you should keep your options open. You never know when the urge is going to hit you!
